Fall 2007, Mark will enter Berklee College of Music in Boston on scholarships.

May 2007, Mark wins a Downbeat Student Music Award for Extended Original Composition.

February 2007, Mark wins a  2007 ASCAP Foundation Young Jazz Composer Award and the 2006-2007 VCU Jazz Pianist Competition .

August 2006, Mark returned from the 30th Annual Telluride Jazz
